As a keen NaNoWriMo-er, November always brings a pretty chaotic, head-spinning thirty days. This year, it’s managed to truly out-do itself.
So, what have I been up to this month?
Firstly, of course, there has been NaNoWriMo itself. As I suspected, I will not be meeting midnight tonight with 50,000 words written. But, I am on track for hitting my 30,000 word goal (and 45,000 words on my WIP overall). I am more than happy with that. It’s been a bit of a crazy experience writing this book, with the characters dropping some seriously huge and seriously surprising bombshells. But, that’s one of the things I love about writing. I’m just along for the ride. I am only the author, after all!
This month also saw me guest authoring at Sledge-Lit literary convention, where I made friends with a very well-known author! You can read all about my day at Sledge-Lit here.
I’ve also done a huge website redesign, and been super busy behind the scenes.
And I have a new project in the works which is hugely out of my comfort zone, but also super exciting. It was born of necessity; the mother of invention.

I didn’t even come close this month. Like I got two editing sessions in for the whole of November. :-/
Glad you did so well, though. I like your new blog colors.
I knew that you wouldn’t have had anything close to an unproductive month!
Thank you, I’m loving my new website design!
