Over the past couple of months, I’ve barely felt like my feet have touched the ground. Not in a falling kind of way, though. In a flying one.
The event I hosted, Burton Sci-Fi and Fantasy Con, turned out to be a resounding success. In fact, in so many ways, I could not have possibly hoped for it to have gone any better. You can read all about it, and check out all the photos, in my blog post here.
Of course, February also saw the release of my latest book, The Notary of Gotliss Street. The release also went great and, with just days to spare, I managed to get the paperback released so that I had copies for sale at the Burton SFF Con. I read a chapter from it there, and sold a good few copies.
Does it sound like I deserve a break now?
Ha! Completely out of the blue, I’ve been asked to run a 3 hour dystopian worldbuilding workshop in Lincoln next month. That is going to take quite some prep work. And, of course, I’m also writing my next book. Can I breathe yet?
I want to set some proper goals this month, so here’s my goals for March:
- Write my next book to at least 25k words
- Update all my mailing list funnels
- Run a successful workshop
- Plan at least the next 6 months
