Last month, I talked about how I, somewhat accidentally, ended up organising a sci-fi and fantasy event. So… yeah… it got bigger. And bigger. And it now looks like it’s going to be huge. It’s equally terrifying and seriously exciting.
As you can imagine, a huge amount of my time is being taken up with event management. It is really full on. But, I haven’t abandoned my writing.
My next book, The Notary of Gotliss Street, is currently out with my beta readers, and the feedback I’ve received so far has been really positive. I’ve just ordered the cover, which is my favourite bit. A book becomes really real once it has its cover.
I’m aiming for an early February release, so that I can have copies available at the sci-fi and fantasy con. Once I have the cover, I’ll be setting up the pre-order, ordering a paperback proof, and running through edits. And then it’s go, go, go!
