Yesterday, I had a stall at Burton Library for their annual Author Day.
Along with a gathering of other local authors, we met and chatted with readers, and also chatted amongst ourselves.
Strategically placing myself next to the three softest, cutest therapy poodles, I spent much of the day talking about, and cuddling, the dogs.
I love getting out into the world to meet people; other writers as much as readers. It’s really nice to swap ideas, to learn new things, and to simply chat to people who totally understand you.
And, after talking to the other authors, we may well be meeting regularly. There’s so much that we can learn from each other, and it’s great to simply find your tribe.
So, a great day all round!
